I listened to Dawns' first book and was hooked ! I always wanted to be a Nurse when I was growing up and now have had the chance thanks to her candid stories narrated so wonderfully by Emma Jordan. Fingers crossed that there will be "Hurry up Nurse 3" !!!

I have always wanted to be a Nurse, so when this title appeared in audio I was keen to listen. Dawn's story of her experiences and Nurse training in the 1970's and Emma's narration put you right there, in the middle of it all. I listen whilst driving, and almost missed my turn I was so engrossed ! Humorous, sad, compelling, very entertaining, I loved Dawn's style of writing and Emma brings it all to life. I can't wait for the next installment !

I learned so much from this book and Mrs Darley is such a character !

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mrs Darley's Moon Mysteries?

I love each of the 'Mrs Darley tales', I would love to meet her, I feel I'm almost beginning to know her through Carols books !

Have you listened to any of Emma Jordan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have ! I love her voice, it's so engaging and relaxing at the same time. She has captured the essence of Mrs Darley perfectly. She brings the book to life. I love that you can search audible for narrators as well as authors and books, so I plan to listen to all her books.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I'm awaiting the release of more Mrs Darley books which are hopefully in the works....so much more fun to listen than read

If you could sum up Mrs. Darley's Pagan Whispers in three words, what would they be?

Wonderful exploration of our Earths seasonal cycles.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mrs. Darley's Pagan Whispers?

Realizing that wanting to be in tune with nature, the earth and her rhythms is innate in us all....but may be deeply buried. This book will help you excavate your inner self. You can give yourself permission to run barefoot through the dew-soaked grass.......it's perfectly alright .....!

What about Emma Jordan’s performance did you like?

Enchanting, easy to listen to and very soothing I found. I particularly liked the way she bought Mrs Darley to life. Top quality recording too, I shall be looking out for other titles Narrated by Emma.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It did bring me close to tears at some points as I recognized a deep longing in myself to reconnect and get myself back on track and more in tune with nature and her seasons.

Any additional comments?

I had every intention of settling down to enjoy this over the course of a week or so.....but once I'd started listening I just had to finish it ! There are other Mrs Darley books in print and I sincerely hope they will come to audible ....and if they were narrated by Emma too....well, I would be over the moon !
