Historia
I played all those cool video games. I watched all those movies. I even read the books. In most of 'em, the hero shoots the bad guys, drives a sweet car, never gets hungry, and always seems to get laid by the end. Yeah. Whatever. I gotta be straight with you about why I wrote this journal, and it comes down to one thing, the apocalypse kinda sucks. It doesn’t meet my expectations at all.

Enjoyable
Revisado: 09-13-21
It’s interesting that the story is read through the innermost thoughts of the main character. I’m his made it feel very genuine; love the diary aspect. Made me laugh out loud on numerous occasions. The narrator is great; he definitely made a connection to the character he was reading from. The story seemed to end quite abruptly, almost like the writer hurriedly finished it. But all in all a very enjoyable read.

Eudora Honeysett is done with this noisy, moronic world - all of it. She has witnessed the indignities and suffering of old age and has lived a full life. At 85, she isn’t going to leave things to chance. Her end will be on her terms. With one call to a clinic in Switzerland, a plan is set in motion. Then she meets 10-year-old Rose Trewidney, a whirling, pint-sized rainbow of sparkling cheer. All Eudora wants is to be left alone to set her affairs in order.

One of the most heartfelt books ever
Revisado: 08-04-21
The narrator is amazing; my favorite I’ve listened to yet. The story is engaging, heartbreaking, endearing, and sincere. It’s a truly sweet story of unlikely friends, and I enjoyed every minute.

Don’t bother
Revisado: 06-18-21
I thought maybe this would be funny or like a satire similar to Shawn of the Dead, but this book misses the mark. Instead of ironic or sarcastic, the characters are just down right dumb and borderline annoying in their thoughts and behaviors. I ended up returning.
