Historia
Baseball is in the Schneider family blood. Each member of this family, from family founder Felix Schneider in the 1800s to Snider Flint in the present day, has a strong tie to the game and to Brooklyn. Through the years, this family has dodged bullets on a battlefield, pitched perfect games, and dealt with the devastating loss of family and the Brooklyn Dodgers. Nine innings - nine generations. One game - one family. Through it all, one thing remains true: The bonds of family are as strong as a love of the game.

I really liked this book. I read a lot of baseball books but this one had a different quality to it. Would highly recommend it, even to people who aren’t baseball fans.

Historia
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

Best Book so far 2022
Revisado: 01-12-22
I really enjoyed this book. It’s not meant to be a self help book but it is one. It’s helped me rediscover parts of me I hadn’t known I lost. It’s given me a new respect for life. I would highly recommend reading it and letting it guide you back to your own roots. It is whimsical, intelligent, clever, irreverent, fascinating, intense and spiritual all at once. It’s a persons journey. One of the best memoirs I have ever read. I even bought the hard copy to carry with me, so I have something to highlight and write notes in the margins of. Thanks Matthew!

Historia
Tom Wolfe's best-selling modern classic tells the story of Sherman McCoy, an elite Wall Street bond trader who has it all: wealth, power, prestige, a Park Avenue apartment, a beautiful wife, and an even more beautiful mistress - until one wrong turn sends Sherman spiraling downward into a humiliating fall from grace. A car accident in the Bronx involving Sherman, his girlfriend, and two young lower-class Black men sets a match to the incendiary racial and social tensions of 1980s New York City.

Amazing Book
Revisado: 08-31-21
Tom Wolfe was the voice of a generation and that of course sets a high bar, but this book is even better than the electric koolaid acid test. This book was life changing for me. Books like that are rare, I seldom read a book that teaches me so much about people and about myself and about the grey areas in life. This book is real, there isn’t any idealism or Hollywood style exaggeration. I would highly recommend reading this book and I’m an avid reader so you can trust my recommendation.

Historia
Woodrow Derenberger, the author of the book, claimed to have had a series of strange adventures beginning on November 2, 1966. While driving home from Parkersburg, West Virginia, to his suburban home in Mineral Wells, he suddenly found the highway blocked by a large, gray object. Someone emerged from the object and walked to the passenger side window of his car. The man introduced himself as "a searcher" and offered words of comfort to Derenberger.

Great Book
Revisado: 04-08-21
I really enjoyed this book, I would highly recommend it to anyone but especially people interested in UFOs and aliens and the like. I found this book fascinating and listened to it much faster than I usually listen to books on audible. Great book.

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Amazing Book
Revisado: 12-29-17
The anti self help self help book. This is the most intelligent piece of literature I’ve read in many years. It is incredibly clever and amazingly lucid. It directly relates to the times we live in and the way people feel right now. I would recommend this to everyone I know and don’t know. I already have told a number of people to read it. Rarely do I say this, if ever, but this book changed my life.
