A must
Revisado: 12-01-15
Really puts worry into perspective. Categorises all the types of worry, and how to overcome each. Can be a bit boring at times as the book is full of examples from the first half of 1900s. But over all a must read.

Historia
Most of us go through life experiencing only the material world, using our five physical senses - and not to their full potential, at that. But on rare occasions, we will catch a glimpse of the hidden, mysterious aspect of our existence, a flash of insight or inspiration received through the sixth sense. What we call "the sixth sense" is a natural, intuitive state of higher consciousness and spiritual awareness, a special power of inner knowing and psychic ability.

It's ok
Revisado: 10-21-15
Have enjoyed the authors other works in the past. Found this one to be a bit far fetched at times with lots of waffling on. If anyone did all of the suggested actions to do everyday it would become a full time job. Was hard not to switch off when listening. Some good material in there, but slightly disappointed

Historia
In this book, we travel inside Emily's and Paul's brains as they attempt to sort the vast quantities of information they're presented with, figure out how to prioritize it, organize it, and act on it. Fortunately for Emily and Paul, they're in good hands: David Rock knows how the brain works - and more specifically, how it works in a work setting. Rock shows how it's possible for Emily and Paul, and thus the listener, not only to survive in today's overwhelming work environment but succeed in it - and still feel energized and accomplished at the end of the day.

Interesting, but slow.
Revisado: 10-11-15
Interesting content but I found the narration really boring and hard to focus on, had to increase the speed. Also not a fan of the comparison of the brain function and theatre and stage with actors and a director. Thought it distracted from the interesting content and research and the comparison would only really appeal to people interested in theatre. I would have rather spent the time listening to case studies and practical exercises to help implement some of the fascinating insights discussed. I'm going to listen to it again and take some notes because it really was easy to switch off at the monotone slow voice but i want to use the knowledge in life. Overall I enjoyed it, would I recommend it? Really depends on the listener.

Life changing
Revisado: 01-28-15
Can see why this book has been a best seller for decades. The world would be a better place if everyone adopted these principles. I can now see that the leaders I've admired have used these principles and as a result are highly respected and distinguished. Even if you have good people skills, it's a must read.
The readers tone is a bit boring making it easy to switch off at times, other than that this audiobook is up there with the best of them

I love Robin Sharma works and use this book for self improvement motivation all the time. It's a bit short as compared to other books for the same price but I see it as quality vs quantity.

Historia
In her work with countless powerful, successful women over the last 20 years, best-selling author and financial educator Barbara Stanny found that most women's problems with money have little to do with money itself, but rather their fear of or ambivalence toward power. Instead of pushing women to pursue financial success in the traditional fashion, Sacred Success seeks to redefine power from a feminine perspective.

So happy I found this book. Lots of valuable food for thought.
Narrators tone a bit annoying at times. But great book for women, especially those doing a bit of soul searching as they haven't found their success
