Historia
Many years and even more levels have passed since Jake and friends entered Nevermore. With quite a number of floors passed, they turn their attention to the Challenge Dungeons. These Challenge Dungeons offer – as the name suggests – unique challenges and circumstances, and completing them will earn each Nevermore competitor points and multipliers to their existing points. As things unfold, it quickly becomes clear it’s through these dungeons that the true top-scorer of the Nevermore Leaderboards will be found.

Filler Arc
Revisado: 03-09-25
SPOILERS!!!First I’d like to say the story and narration are on point as always. My only real gripe is that this is just a filler book and it doesn’t even finish all the challenge dungeons. I do understand that not every block can be filled with super hard hitting twists and turns meant to flip the world on its head. Overall the story was very well written, it was simply the content that made it feel easy to forget the book was playing at times.

Historia
Joey Eclipse has returned to his beginner challenge area after winning a solo dungeon crawl. He's the first Dungeon Master of his entire realm and can instantly swap out enchanted weapons from his dungeon inventory dimension. This is during an apocalypse where the multiverse integrates whole universes and initiates countless humans to its game-like realms of limitless magic. And while Joey is still a small part of the system, his shadow, necromancy, dragon magic, and cultivation of fate are way too overpowered for the average beginner to face.

Poor writing and delivery
Revisado: 10-29-24
The writing read more like a draft rather than a finished product. Which made it all the worse when deliver was poor. Character interactions were clunky and altogether jarring. The characters were unlikable and moved too quickly into the worshiping of the MC. The MC himself isn’t a likable person because he’s poorly written and the delivery of his lines feels deadpan and super forced.
Overall I’d say the story needs to be fine tuned quite a bit more.

A Shift, Unlike The One We Know.
Revisado: 09-14-21
In a few simple words, this addition to Jason’s story is disappointing. In large part this book feels too much like a transition to a bigger story rather than a living part of a whole. Overall the feeling of finishing this book felt more challenging than the previous books.

A step backwards
Revisado: 01-23-21
I was very excited to find out that the next installment of this Series had come out, however this didn’t last. The entire book seems like a montage of suddenly gained powers and loopholes that were mentioned months ago but we didn’t hear about because it wasn’t relevant. Specifically what create a system that seemingly binds absolute except if you do this one simple thing? It truly feels as though the author decided that he no longer wanted to continue with specific storylines he had set up and, this was the the book he used to reset his universe so to speak. Overall this book truly seems like a thrown together mess who’s sole purpose is to rewrite the past.
