The least romantic ending of all the series

After all these years and the fun I had reading and loving these books, the last book was a disappoint. Stephanie was engaged to be married two guys!!! Where was the passion, friendship, comedy and love between Joe, Ranger and/or Stephanie? In the end, Ranger suddenly didn't care about Stephanie's choice and Joe cared more about watching TV sports and Bob the dog. So, Same old pot roast on the Sunday table....pity.
Kudos to my favotite supporting charcters, Lula, Grandma Mazur, Connie and Rex.

A Triumph, Again

I look forward to reading or listening to every novel Preston and Child write. I particularly love the Agent Pendergast series. This one is mind-blowing.
Jefferson Mays is a fantastic narrator who successfully captures the voices and uniqueness of each character. Enjoy!

Worse narration ever

I own every book or audiobook that Preston and Child have written in the world of Agent Pendergast. The authors never fail to entertain. Since so many other fans share my disappointment, I won't dissect how badly the narrator interrpreted the characters, but it was awful. I too am returning my audio purchase and buying the hardcover.

Just when I think I'm not going to read one more romance/fantasy, I get sucked in. How does Nora Roberts manage to find something fresh and wonderful to write about. Enjoyed this book immensly and the great narration

Glad I read all the previous books

While I missed the author's more complicated plots of previous books , this one included many of my favorite characters. The book was fast-paced, humorous, surprising, magical, and totally Mercy. It was a good escape read while I "sheltered in place" with my family.

The Gordons are amazing writers who continue to create an incredible variety of characters in imaginative worlds. In the previous 3.5 books, I loved Nevada and Rogan, and the rest of the family or should I say magical army. In this Hidden Legacy book, Saphire Flames, Catalina and Alisandro are just as romantic, talented, and amusing. Grandma Frida was also back!
