Dr. Suess for grownups.
Revisado: 08-31-21
Bronson Pinchot truly brings this tale to life, magically infusing each character with a rich vocal personality. New, fresh, fantastical, hilarious. A rare treat in a cookie cutter world.

Ummm...Unexpectedly Awesome

I chanced on this book by recommendation and can not believe that it remains relatively innate as far as popularity goes. Adjectives: New, Original, Captivating, Exciting, Believable, Accurate, relevant, etc.
I loved it! As an Audible Sci Fi junkie (I travel a lot) I would recommend this among my top 3 out of over 100 listened in the past 2 years.
I looked up Claudia Christian and am amazed that her narration is not more common. She is a veteran Sci Fi actor as well as the voice of a plethora of animated movies. I want more!

But the young girl is an innocent, a victim, one of millions the war has already claimed.

Pure Genius

Beyond all that came before and far exceeding my hopeful expectations per previous reviewers.
I can relate this Audible experience as though watching Star Wars, Terminator, Dune, Blade Runner, etc. for the very first time. This is a future epic Sci Fi trilogy to rival all that came before should it somehow one day be accurately translated to a movie epic considering Moore's law equivalent to film and graphics technology. Perhaps in a few decades or so?
For the present however, only individual imagery and a discerning and educated subconscious minds' eye will appreciate and comprehend the magnitude and colorful extent of this masterpiece. Perfect in every manner, a mind-bender where all ends are carefully woven together to become palpably realistic and fantastically genuine. Bravo!
Thank you, Stephen Moss and R.C. Moss, et al. on so very many levels. You give me hope that there is no such thing as a human creative plateau...

Historia
Nobody knew where it came from. Nobody knew why it came. When an eight-foot-tall man made of stone appears in the middle of a busy city center one July afternoon, two-bit (and antisocial) reporter Andy Pointer assumes it's just a publicity stunt. Indeed, so does everyone else...until the Stone Man begins to walk, heading silently through the wall of the nearest building, flattening it, and killing several people inside as a result.

I am forever ruined by this.. It is color television where all else is black and white, the very first bite of a lifelong favorite dessert...
Wade this story as deep as thought will provoke, swim in the warm narrative.
Shame on you both...but thank you for raising the bar!
