Historia
In this short book, Dr. Matthew Everhard attempts to give the listener a concise exposition of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He explains that our souls were made to serve and adore our creator, our Heavenly Father. But with the advent of sin into the world at the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3), mankind was plunged into ruin and loss. The soul of man is now in jeopardy. Yet because of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Savior, we can have our sins forgiven and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Souls - What Everyone Should Know
Revisado: 02-10-23
This is a clear, informative, and interesting book on the most important subject to man - his soul! Matthew Everhard does a masterful job in teaching on this subject in a way that is easy to understand. It addresses a lot of theological issues and has helped me to gain clarity on a couple of subjects mentioned within the book. I learned a great deal and it was written in a very engaging manner. I highly recommend this book to everyone!

Revisado: 11-21-22
I read the book a few years ago and decided to listen to the audio version and it was great. The book has tremendous lessons to learn from and apply to your daily life. It gives you a framework for mental toughness that is much needed today. It makes me thankful for the men and women serving our nation.

Very Inspiring and Timely
Revisado: 08-22-21
This is the second book by Admiral McRaven I have listened to on Audible and I enjoyed this one very much. I really like the examples he gives to illustrate each particular point of his code. He even sprinkles in his own personal examples as well.

Book of the Year!
Revisado: 12-12-19
This is the book of the year. Jason Redman gives listeners practical and actionable principles on how they can respond to the devastating storms and ambushes of life. He narrates the book with empathy, emotion and power. I purchased both a physical copy of the book and got the audio version as well! I first heard of Jason Redman earlier this year and read his book, "The Trident." It soon became one of my favorite books on leadership and self-improvement. I started following Jason on social media and eventually joined his Overcome Army group coaching. When I had an opportunity to read and listen to his new book, "Overcome" I knew it would be good. But after reading it, I have to say that it is more than good - it is life changing. Jason does a tremendous job of teaching a principle and then providing real life examples of those principles in action. He offers practical steps that you can take in your every day life to overcome the obstacles and adversities you face. Jason doesn't just spout theory and catch-phrases, he shares real-life insight and wisdom. In the past year I've experienced the death of my father and two bouts of surgery for skin cancer. I found myself really struggling and just plodding through life. Overcome helped me to see where I was really at and what I needed to do to get through these painful experiences and get back to living my life. I am so thankful for having read and listened to this book.
