Historia
Johnnie Rico never really intended to join up—and definitely not the infantry. But now that he’s in the thick of it, trying to get through combat training harder than anything he could have imagined, he knows everyone in his unit is one bad move away from buying the farm in the interstellar war the Terran Federation is waging against the Arachnids. Because everyone in the Mobile Infantry fights. And if the training doesn’t kill you, the Bugs are more than ready to finish the job.

This is a fun series by an author that is not afraid to tell a story.
The narration is top notch on a level with RC Bray and like Bray brought out the best in the story.
Bravo to the author and narrator.

Historia
The planet is isolated from the rest of the universe, unable to seek help as it's targeted by hostile aliens. Bienvenido's ruling authorities have slowly responded to this gradual infiltration, but they have no idea that a highly organized invasion is now under way, designed to wipe out all human life on the planet. All factions must work together to survive. Unfortunately, due to prejudice against enhanced Eliter humans and crippling technophobia, the parochial government won't collaborate.

Revisado: 06-25-20
I love these commonwealth novels.
To me Hamilton is one of the modern grand masters of sci fi.
Thank you.
John Lees narration is more story telling than anything. He makes the stories better than when I read them myself.
Thank you John.

Lovely story.
The narrator is top rate and I will look for more of her readings. Her reading gave the book the life and color and movement that the author gave her to bring out in the story. And the author gave her plenty to work with.
The writing was well done. Masterful. I will be looking for more of her work too.
The ending was satisfying.
This story deserves to be award winning.

Historia
Years after clean energy ended the world’s reliance on fossil fuels, a lull of peace encompasses all of humanity. Some think we should travel to the distant corners of the galaxy; others oppose the idea, thinking that the harnessed singularity reactors are unnatural. When a terrorist group attacks the Lunar colony, members of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force are divided as a result of the incursion. Years later, Lieutenant Commander Kyle Torres comes face to face with old friends, as he’s thrown into an assignment that could change everything.

Historia
In this story, an alien race known as the "Throgs" attacks a Terran survey camp without warning. "Eye-searing lances of energy lashed back and forth across the base with methodical accuracy, and a single cowering witness, flattened on a ledge in the heights above, knew that when the last of those yellow-red bolts fell, nothing human would be left alive down there."
