The story had a lot of different characters that were not related so you had to pay attention to which story went.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Enjoyed
Revisado: 02-25-23
Although a lot of people have said it was boring, and I agree parts could have been improved or left out, but overall I enjoyed the book. It was good hearing a different side of the royal family. I’ve always heard power changes people, as is evident here.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

A must read!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story of a girl left alone to survive on her own. Reading how her dad treated the family is so cruel—And eventually they all left leaving her alone. A very shy girl who survives against all odds. I enjoyed the book from beginning to ending!

Historia
Lydia Quixano Pérez lives in the Mexican city of Acapulco. She runs a bookstore. She has a son, Luca, the love of her life, and a wonderful husband who is a journalist. And while there are cracks beginning to show in Acapulco because of the drug cartels, her life is, by and large, fairly comfortable. When Lydia’s husband’s tell-all profile of Javier, the jefe of the newest drug cartel that has gruesomely taken over the city, is published, none of their lives will ever be the same.

I enjoyed this book in its entirety. My only complaint is a couple of times the events were too drawn out and I was thinking “hurry up!”; especially whenever Lydia had to see Lorenzo and make a phone call—too much. I enjoyed the mother and son’s strength and endurance throughout the story. To face the terrible things that happened and to survive the hardships, made this a very interesting read. I had to be angry some at Lydia’s (and her husband’s) decisions that caused such tragedy.
