One of my favorite audiobooks
Revisado: 08-23-19
Profound spiritual wisdom that I will be listening to again and again. This came at a time in my life when I especially needed these ideas—helped me to make better sense of myself, my Faith at this stage of life and the crazy world in which we live. Highly recommended.

Tami is the Real Deal!
Revisado: 05-02-19
I’ve known Tami for years, and had the great opportunity to work with her on several business deals. I can tell you for certain that Tami practices everything that she discusses in this program. She is on my short list of the people I most respect in the publishing field. What’s more, her ideas about being true to oneself and living with true integrity had a big impact on me. Highly recommended!

A remarkable, enriching work
Revisado: 03-26-19
This profound interview is inspiring—not in a simplistic, cheerleading way, but in a soulful and insightful way. The combination of the wise sage Parker Palmer with one of my favorite people, Sounds True Founder Tami Simon, makes for a compelling listening experience. I finished this recording in two days—it was that good. Parker and Tami, please record more interviews together!

A Treasure Chest of Wisdom
Revisado: 03-05-18
My mom gave me this book after I graduated from college back in 1989. I have re-read or re-listened to this book throughout my life since then and it is even more meaningful to me now at age 50 than it was then. This is truly one of the top 3 books that have shaped who I am today. I can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s not “pop” self-help—it’s true wisdom.

Historia
In the past several years, there has been a great deal of hyperbole disseminated by mass media about "The Top 1%". Most of this press has been negative - casting the 1% as the villains, and the 99% as the victims. Most every major problem in our society, and in individuals' inability to progress, has been blamed on this "elite" income class. Yet, the paradox is that the vast majority of people in America strive every day to become part of that 1%.

Finally an optimistic message with original ideas
Revisado: 04-19-17
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would definitely recommend this book because it is well presented, full of unique ideas (not the same old pap I've read in "success books") and left me feeling hopeful about the future. In this political and cultural moment, that's huge.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Top 1%?
I loved the chapter "The Templeton Test" about Sir John Templeton, and the chapter on Wisdom. Great insights.
What about Dan Strutzel’s performance did you like?
He has a pleasant speaking voice, and sounds sincere.
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
In addition to the ones I mentioned, "How to Enter Your Day Slowly" made an impact.
