God used this book as well as the one by her son Micah, "Passport to Heaven", to heal a good deal in my life. A good writer with a powerful testimony, I highly recommend to all those He leads to this book on their walj with Him.

Game changer.

I don't normally review Audible books. But I cannot recommend this one enough! Just his advice on how to pray changed everything for me and was worth the price of the book. I listened to it twice in a row, bought copies for my sister and son, told my brother to get his hands on it, and asked my husband to take a look. if that doesn't say how much I valued this read, then I will close with this. I became a Christian at 19, but have never felt certain of God's acceptance. Now, I do, and I cannot wait to see what is next! Thank you, Mr. Springer, for being faithful to the gift He gave you.

First Bad Review

Let me preface by saying that I didn't get past Chapter 2. I am a history nerd, and especially love the Tudors, reading everything I can find. While I agreed with most of the author's conclusions, her tone was so flippant and sarcastic that she lost credibility. The facts (the few we really do know) about Anne Boleyn tend to show that while she was capable of avarice, manipulation and revenge, she was also unfairly convicted to expedite Henry VIII's marriage to Jane Seymour. She does seen to have the facts (those which I heard), she just needs to take the edge off the sarcasm, and I would give it another chance.

My New Favorite Series

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This series came highly recommended by a close friend, who particularly suggested listening to it being read in Audible. I hadn't used Audible before, but was hooked after hearing Mr. Kramer and Ms. Reading bring the books to life. When I finished the last book, I felt as though I was saying goodbye to a dear friend.

What other book might you compare The Eye of the World to and why?

The Wheel of Time series comprises the best of fantasy. Mr. Jordan builds a complex world of different cultures and characters, mythologies and prophecies, and carries them to conclusion with a dexterity and finesse that amazes me.

Which character – as performed by Kate Reading and Michael Kramer – was your favorite?

My favorite characters were Egwene, Nynaeve, Matt and Min. Of course, Rand as well. It's almost impossible to choose.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I pretty much binge listened to all of these every chance I got - on my way to and from work, while walking or working out - whenever I could. I think you will as well!

Where does The Many-Colored Land rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The Many-Colored Land is one of the best audiobooks I have heard. Ms. Dunne bring it to life, and her reading of the material (which is complex) is so well done.

Any additional comments?

Please have Ms. Dunne read the other books in the saga. Having just the first book available is disappointing.
