Horrible distortion in background of audio

The story and performance were fine, however throughput the entire book there is a very distracting feedback or background noise to the audio. It is not in the silent spaces between sentences but it is constant throughout the recording, which was very distracting. A bit disappointed:(

Couldn't keep me awake.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I really wanted to like this book, but I kept falling asleep whilst listening to it and when I played it back it was as if I had never even heard it before. I found it all so forgettable. I am not sure if it was the performance or the story, I suspect it was a little of both. A bit disappointed.
