the book started out very strong and I like when it's written about more mature individuals in their 40s and 50s. But I found it kind of I don't know Paki you're just unbelievable that she would expect him to want to have another baby or a small child at the age of 50. I am 53 and I've got seven grandkids right now my kids are 34 and 26 and if I yeah I would not want a baby yeah no no now it's mine and my husband's time now we get to come first again.

No just no!!
Let's be honest.....the fact that he DID choose the "friend" (he says he chose the boy) while his choice was what left h alone to suffer in silence. He DID NOT DESERVE FORGIVENESS! As a woman why would you ever forgive him..... The "friend" and Hero raised a child that wasn't his while at the same time the h lost their baby of the same age. I'm sorry but it would not okay to watch the Man that supposedly loved me raise another woman's child of the same age as their son would be.... It would be a constant reminder and slap in the face. If he LOVED her this would NEVER HAPPEN!

This is the story of Liam and Emma. The overall concept is a good idea, story just fell short. The contradiction in the train of thought of a investigative journalist and Emma's were distractingly obvious. The relationship between the two MC's wasn't more than physical .. due to the fact that there was not any interesting conversations between the two.

Struggled to finish this one....I could not forgive Reese...At that point I did not want HEA for her!
Narration was spot on,
Sorry it just had a trope that's NOT for me.

I loved this book... but for once when h pushes away H for insane reasons. I wish that he would make her chase him for a change. I get it he hurt her pride... but come on. alpha male shouldn't grovel like she tried to make him do. when you love a person, you love that person as a whole... he shouldn't have to change into your way of being.

I was apprehensive about this listen... Boy would I have lost out on a great new series... Addison Jane is a new author for me but from today on she'll be an automatic purchase for me... Great narration along with great story! well worth the credit!
