Historia
Jaguin is one of the finest trackers on Valdier, where females are few and true mates almost non-existent. He has never been successful at finding his true mate, and that failure is eating away at him and his dragon. Even his symbiot is feeling the strain as the centuries crawl by with no end to the emptiness gnawing away at them. But hope flares with the discovery of a species that is compatible with their own. Jaguin is rewarded for his help in tracking one of the Lord's stubborn females with the promise of a chance to find his own true mate on the planet Earth.

I like the books to have listed this far. These are my go to for something a little less heavy but keeping in my fave romance genre. I only have 1 wish and that is I wish there was a little more world building. I still don't feel like I understand the world all to well. That is my only complaint.

Historia
Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance - and healing - in each other's arms.

Don't believe the hateful reviews!!
Revisado: 03-06-21
just because the narration is different doesn't mean it's bad. Many people don't like the narrator but she did a wonderful job. I dont particularly like changing narrators in a series but she definitely did the book justice.
To start off I was worried starting this book because it centered on Nesta, a character to which we all love to hate. I will be truthful. Her attitude doesn't change much until the last 6hrs or so. I feel like people who have gone through similar trauma can relate to this character while the rest of us hate the pathetic, self loathing, and very mean personality. That being said her transformation is truly wonderful. We all go through difficulties in our life and learning to cope with everything in a new environment can be challenging. I commend her strength and steadfastness in the face of her fears. I believe we all can learn a little bit about ourselves from this character. The author is one of my favorites for many reasons but one is how she develops her characters, relationships, and the surrounding world. She brings it all together to create something truly magical. Ok so that wasn't exactly one reason! Anyway I saw a lot of hateful reviews. If you take the time to read mine I hope you choose to listen or read this book and reflect upon yourself and the world around you as I have. Sarah J. Maas thank you for the gift of your work.

When Emma moves to Astoria, Oregon, she is given two rules: #1 - don’t cross to “their” side of the street. #2 - don’t mess with the elites, especially Lexen Darken, top elite and resident bad boy. While she finds this both weird and insulting, Emma has no actual intention of breaking these rules - until her guardians go missing. Now all bets are off. Only a single line separates her side of the street from the elites', and she's crossing it.

no have high hope but was pleasantly surprised
Revisado: 04-04-19
I understand that many people complain about the narration but I thought she did a fantastic job. I've listened to other books narrated by her.
over all the story line is intriguing and not to slow either. I hate books that never get to the point. the world was wonderfully crafted with sweet romance to match. I will definitely spend my credits on this series. the only thing that was lacking for me is I really wanted to know more from Lex's point of view. ( main Male character and love interest) hes portrayed very stoic throughout the entire book and I understand that hes battling a war within himself that I need to learn more about. I'd greatly appreciate more character development in the next books. Fingers crossed.

Historia
Seraph Black used to think that she was prepared for anything. She could last days without eating and she always walked away from the violent altercations with her father relatively unharmed. She survived working at the club and the drive to school every day in her mother's rust-bucket of a car...but it all changed when Noah and Cabe came bulldozing into her life, careless of the precious secrets they picked apart in their quest to take over her world. She was even less prepared for the mysterious Miro and Silas, and nothing could have prepared her for the bond. The connection.

I found this book by accident. Reading reviews for another book someone mentioned this one was better. I definitely enjoyed this book it has a great plot line. It is very well written with decent character development and I'll definitely listen to more in the series. Where I struggled is I was just as clueless to what was going on as the main character. You really don't understand a thing till twards the very end of the book. Another thing ( which is just personal preference) the main character she so very passive. The kind of girl murderers look for in pray. That kind of passivity gets under my skin. I know many people don't like the narration. I thought she suited the book well. To anyone thinking of purchasing this book good luck!

Beautiful!
Revisado: 01-23-19
Yet another amazingly written story by Dannika Dark and another wonderful performance by my favorite narrator Nicole Poole. I believe I'll always want more books about Keystone so I'm a little biased. This was a good coming together story for Raven and Christian. This book focuses less on keystone cases and more about the character development of Raven, Christian and Crush ( Ravens father). It's a little less action heavy but the stakes were all the same. Overall would recommend but I'm guessing if you've made it this far through the series why stop now.

decent YA.
Revisado: 12-14-18
I am an avid listener to all things fantasy. Especially if it's paranormal romance or YA. I'm here to say that this is a fun listen for anyone between 15-20 years of age. It has 2 likeable main characters and I liked the world building. I equate it to the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare. If you're looking for way more XXX and amazing writing then anything by Dannika Dark is the way to go. Again good listen and I do not regret the credit I used to purchase it.

Worth every minute!
Revisado: 08-21-18
Another dazzling read by Dannika Dark and performance by Nicole Poole. One of my favorite things about this series as well as all the rest is the character dynamic and banter. This book in particular definitely clears some things up with Shepherd which is great. I'm still waiting to learn more about Gem, Niko, Claude, and Blue. Learning more about Raven and Christians relationship development is the reason I draw breath in this life 😉 besides all that the book has an interesting plot that kept me on the edge of my seat. Can't wait for the next!

Revisado: 05-02-18
I don't usually buy the smaller books attached to a main series ( the 1.5s 2.5s ect.) but I did this time! This book is all about rebuilding what was lost in the last major battle. It's absolutely up lifting and gives some much wanted background details into the other characters life. This series as well as Throne of Glass are among my favorites, well written characters and worlds. But I still have to admit I absolutely hate her sister Nesta! Hopefully in the books to come I will appreciate her more.

There is no such thing as happily ever after. Everything Charlotte Winston thought she knew has been thrown out the window. From the moment she opens her eyes, the world she remembered ceases to exist, and in its place is a post-apocalyptic realm filled with unimaginable dangers. And one very smoking hot guy who has an uncanny ability to make her blood sing, then boil in a blink of an eye.

Conflicting thoughts
Revisado: 03-04-18
Overall the book is enjoyable. It's a light and easy listen. The story is easily followed. I really enjoyed the world building, a chemical mist covered the earth changing the land and everything around it, including humans. No one knows the extent of the mist and its ever changing characteristics. Or who created it! Where I had a problem is with the main character. Typical rich kid stuck up girly teenager and love interest dark and mysterious hot guy. All the girls fawn over him but he only has eyes for the one girl he can't bring himself to actually commit to. I had my eyes rolling for most of the romance. intriguing story, middle school romance!

Historia
Since moving to Mystic Harbor, Maine, I've made it my life's mission to avoid Reese Blackburn at all costs. Sure, he has cheekbones that could cut glass, not to mention bedroom eyes that could melt any girl into a puddle on the floor. Too bad that doesn't change the fact he's completely stab-worthy. When a fun night out on the town turns deadly, I quickly discover the quaint little hamlet of Mystic Harbor houses more than sandy beaches and adorable B&Bs. Beneath the New England charm rests a world where shifters, demons, vampires, and angelic hunters all vie for power.

Unexpected
Revisado: 02-18-18
So, I very much chose this book on a whim. I have to say I'm not disappointed! The book definitely has your typical " teenage girl whos unexpectedly brought into a world she knows nothing about and becomes the center of it all." there is action, adventure, mystery, and a hint of romance. Wether your 15 or 30 years old this book has something everyone will like. The writing is well done, sometimes with YA paranormal books the writing isn't all that great. Not this book. I also loved some of the clever one liners the characters said, the characters were all well rounded and flushed out. Last but not least the narration was fantastic.
