Historia
The impossible has been accomplished. The Lord Ruler - the man who claimed to be god incarnate and brutally ruled the world for a thousand years - has been vanquished. But Kelsier, the hero who masterminded that triumph, is dead too, and now the awesome task of building a new world has been left to his young protégé, Vin, the former street urchin who is now the most powerful Mistborn in the land, and to the idealistic young nobleman she loves.

One of the best follow-ups ever printed
Revisado: 04-02-25
Just finished my re-read. And wow, I somehow liked it even more the second time. Sanderson does such a good job of making his books re-readable. This book is so worth it on so many levels.

On August 8, 2020, 40-year-old Stephanie Lincoln seemingly had the perfect life. She just had the wedding of her dreams, owned a successful business, and was traveling the country in an RV with her husband and 3 dogs. Story of survival with lessons for all of us
Revisado: 01-27-25
I loved listening to this audio book! Narrated by the author, it takes you through three harrowing and dangerous days of her life lost in the Olympia forest. Stephanie has an amazing style of story telling making you feel like you are there with her through it all. She contextualizes her experience with life experiences before and after she got lost, showing the reader how all of us were “born to be brave.”

Historia
Since his wife died, Ralph Roberts has been having trouble sleeping. Each night he wakes up a bit earlier until he's barely sleeping at all. During his late-night walks, he observes some strange things going on in Derry, Maine. He sees colored ribbons streaming from people's heads, two strange little men wandering around town after dark, and more. He begins to suspect that these visions are something more than hallucinations brought on by lack of sleep.

Why do they ruin good books with unnecessar music?
Revisado: 09-07-20
The narrator does an admirable job, but it's the stupid, pervasive music that almost ruins this great story. It's so jarring and ruins the narrative.
