Would you listen to Kerry-Anne again? Why?
I could easily listen to Kerry-Anne's story again. The reader had emotion, played the character, and it made the story easy to get involved in and follow along.

Worth the time
Revisado: 07-28-14
What did you like best about this story?
I'm a sucker for a somewhat happy ending. I'm not really into the whole zombie-type stuff, but when I realized they were more ghosts than actual living zombie-like beings, I was able to get back into the storyline. I liked that the characters in the story didn't give up. They picked up the pieces and kept going, trying to make the best of a horrible situation. I like a book that makes me think about it after reading it, not just reading the last lines of "The End" and having it be done. It makes you think: what would I do if there was an epidemic of some kind, where would we go, who would we turn to.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There were a few times in the book that brought me to tears. As a mom, the thought of losing even one of my kids is overwhelmingly petrifying. So that part of the story was hard to stomach.
Any additional comments?
I'm glad I finally got the audio version. When I tried to read the book and got to the sad parts, it was too easy to walk away. The audio version made it more bearable to keep listening. I'm glad I did. It was worth the time to finally finish the book, and now I'm going to read book 2.
