A phenomenon known as crustal displacement shifts the Earth's crust, repositioning continents and causing countless deaths. In the wake of the global catastrophe, the world struggles to take care of its displaced billions. But Antarctica, freshly thawed and blooming, has emerged as a new hope. Rather than wage a world war no nation can endure, the leading nations devise a competition, a race to the center of Antarctica, with the three victors dividing the continent.

Not the best Pendergast book.
Revisado: 06-19-14
Would you try another book from Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child and/or Rene Auberjonois?
Yeah for sure as the Pendergast series is a great one and Rene does the perfect voice for him
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
To be honest I didn't like it but thats because I saw it coming from about half way.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
Rene was really good again, but a couple of times he kept the wrong voice for a character.
Was Two Graves worth the listening time?
Yes as it was a further trip into the world of A.L.Pengdergast, but I think its one of the weakest in the series.

Haven't read the print version.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Island 731?
The premise was quite good, esp once they get to the island.

Good overall but there were times where the narrater gets stuck on a character voice and continues this into another character so made it hard to follow some dialogue.

Can't stop!!
Revisado: 08-28-13
What did you love best about The Passage?
All of it!! Mainly though the believability of all the characters and the story that follows each of them. You really feel invested in each of them.
What other book might you compare The Passage to and why?
Probably "The Stand" but only because thats another end of the world epic.
What about the narrators’s performance did you like?
Its Scott Brick. Nothing more to say!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The first chapter really got to me. I won't spoil it but as a grown man it was the closet I've come to crying at the first part of any book.
Any additional comments?
Hands down one of the best books I have ever read.
