Can't get past the bad narration

I just can't get past the horrible narration. This poor guy needs to find a new career. Just totally ruined the story he is so monotone and stiff in his reading.

I don't typically review books, but this is horrible. How it has so many stars is a complete mystery. It's slow, confusing, the narrator reads like a robot. I gave up at chapter 12, I just can't take it any more. I'm sorry I wasted the credit.

I'm loving these books and the stories is so engaging, it moves fast, is action packed and the imagination of some of the creatures and tech is fantastic. I wanted to take my time listening to this one who knows if another one will come out soon but it's so addicting I finished it in two days.

These three together the authors and narrator are my new favorites for sure.

Great story with a fresh take on the apocalypse

I was skeptical at first but I'm really glad I spent the credit. great fresh plot line. The narrator is also fantastic. I still don't quite understand the snake priests body though. At one point he says she's wearing panties but if she doesn't have legs how is that possible? I look forward to the next book and hope this turns into a long series.

Horribly boring I couldn't even get 1/2 way

I'm sorry to the Author, but this has to be one of the most boring books ever written, it's way to much technical babble/talking, no action, no real plot that I could tell and the narration was so drab it lulled me to sleep.

This book and story could have been great, but every single chapter had to end with an overly detailed teenage boys sexual fantasies. Pure trash and it completely ruined the books for me.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book

OMG I haven't laughed this hard at books since Space Team. I loved the narrators pace which played perfectly between Adrenaline rush and calm. If you want something outrageous, light and completely different this one is great.
