disappointed...
Revisado: 08-01-16
Did Marcia just get tired? I will admit that I dozed off while my sister was driving; and she confessed that she did the same.

Historia
Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is back, packing a whole lot of attitude. This time around, she's on the trail of Kenny Mancuso, a boy from the working-class burg of Trenton, New Jersey, who has just shot his best friend. Fresh out of the Army and suspiciously wealthy, Mancuso's also distantly related to Joe Morelli, a vice cop with questionable ethics, a libido in permanent overdrive, and a habit of horning in on Stephanie's investigations.

I love this series...I've read them all, and am now listening to them from the beginning. They are good now, but they get even better. If you like Ranger now, just wait.

Now the rent is due again. And you live in New Jersey. What do you do? If you're Stephanie Plum, you become a bounty hunter. But not just a nickel-and-dime bounty hunter, you go after the big money. That means a cop gone bad. And not just any cop. She goes after Joe Morelli, a disgraced former vice cop who is also the man who took Stephanie's virginity at age sixteen and then wrote the details on a bathroom wall.

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. Loved it!
Revisado: 04-20-12
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. I love the mix of action and relationships that makes up a Tom Clancy book.
What did you like best about this story?
The relationships among the core team.
What does Lou Diamond Phillips bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
LDP is great! I listened while driving, and it made a long trip seem not so long. I could differentiate between the characters, but the change in accents was believable.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I held my breath while John Clark was being tortured!!!
