TREMENDOUS WASTE OF TIME!!!!
Revisado: 01-03-24
I have read at least a dozen of the books by Jaquavis and Ashley and truly enjoyed most of them, but this one was a tremendous waste of time! The storyline just didn’t connect. I honestly wish I could get that credit back!

Historia
In my book, you will meet a little girl named Viola who ran from her past until she made a life-changing decision to stop running forever. This is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.

OUTSTANDING … from beginning to end!!!
Revisado: 01-01-23
This was the first audible book that I actually had to take time with to absorb and ponder, but I’m so glad that I did. I couldn’t rush through the depth of the stories and experience’s because I had to just sit with them and imagine what it must’ve been like. Wow… job well done!

Historia
A year after a messy break-up with her stripper ex-boyfriend, seamstress Trevia McCall is still feeling the after-effects of his betrayal...and their mind-numbing sex life. She's done with him, but her subconscious mind and body haven't gotten the memo. Spoken word artist Nyles Adams is the kind of man Trevia loves to love - handsome, talented, and cocky as hell. But as far as she's concerned, he's everything she wants and nothing that she needs. Could it be possible that Trevia and Nyles were made to love each other?

BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!
Revisado: 10-05-22
I have enjoyed several books by Alexandria House, but probably liked this one the least. Boring storyline with a very bland ending. Jakobi Diem is wonderful as usual but Mari is definitely not a favorite … and who doesn’t know how to pronounce 2Pac?!?! She lost me at that point!

Historia
Tragedy flips Amore Brown’s world on its axis right before she heads off to college. Having to sit tight for the summer, she chooses Jersey City, New Jersey - the home of her estranged father - to pass the time. Here, in urban grit, a stark contrast to the comforts of suburbia, she reconnects with a long-lost cousin for some final months of summer excursions, enrooting, and evolving. But it could never be that simple, even if it were all so simple then.

OBSESSED!!!
Revisado: 11-01-21
This book was only my 2nd audible book experience. My first was the 50 Shades of Grey series, which I listened to a few years ago and I must say that this one was FAAAAAAAAAR better and the narration provided by Shayna Small was absolutely superb! Once I started listening, I couldn’t get through my work day without finishing it. There was so much that I could personally relate to - from the hip hop musical references, to the summer of first love … just a really great book! I’m a proud fan, Takerra Allen and Shayna Small!
