The first several chapters were devoted to the heroine’s sexual attraction to another woman. Well written but I was hoping for a paranormal mystery and gave up on the story. Wasn’t looking for a sex book

The story was good and the characters likeable. The reader did very well. But I got the strong impression she was being paid by the word and trying to make as much money as possible. I was getting frustrated by the end of the book.
