Historia
I spent a year in prison for a crime I admittedly did commit, but I had a good reason. I was supposed to serve a longer sentence, but a handsy guard and a pissed-off warden who wanted me to keep quiet meant I got out early. My brothers have abandoned me, and there’s nowhere for me to go. Until the hottest man I’ve ever met decides to be my knight on shining Harley. He only thinks he knows me though, and if he ever finds out I was locked up for a violent crime he might walk away. For some reason, the thought sends me into a panic.

Enjoyable but prefer more depth
Revisado: 06-10-24
The story was a little light in the details but overall an enjoyable one. More depth to the plot would’ve made it better. The narrator was pretty good.

Historia
Everyone from Wakarusa, Indiana, remembers the infamous case of January Jacobs, who was discovered in a ditch hours after her family awoke to find her gone. Margot Davies was six at the time, the same age as January—and they were next-door neighbors. In the twenty years since, Margot has grown up, moved away, and become a big-city journalist. But she’s always been haunted by the feeling that it could’ve been her. And the worst part is, January’s killer has never been brought to justice.

Could’ve been 5 stars
Revisado: 02-07-23
The story is interesting and a fun read. Ashley Flowers does a good job of dropping tiny Easter eggs without giving away the twists (thank you). Also I liked how she weaves into the storyline how so many girls/women/victims become these forgotten ppl when something happens to them.
**Hint of spoiler alert** don’t read any further or it may give away something..,
My only complaint is the story ended without resolving the result of the confrontation. I’m assuming this is to leave the door open for a continuing next book. Ok I get it, but still :/

Historia
Cash was living the life of the lieutenant of The Last Riders, and he had women at his beck and call. The only thing he saw himself settling down with in the future was a 12 pack... and certainly not Rachel Porter. Hell, she wasn't even his type - her tits were too small, and her mean mouth could shrivel a man's dick. How was he supposed to know she was special and worth putting up with those weed-producing hillbillies? Or was she?

Never use this narrator again

The male voices all sound the same and cartoonish. At least learn how to pronounce KILL-ya-ma (not Kill-LLAMA lol).
The story was not as good as others. Cash and Rachel were a little two dimensional compared to main characters on other books from the series. Not my fave.
