Historia
One of the most prolific fly-fishing writers of the twentieth century, Roderick L. Haig-Brown continues his seasons” cycle with Fisherman’s Spring, a book that is as much about the deep philosophical aspects of fly fishing as it is about fly fishing itself. Readers will learn about the abundance of spring life in the streams of British Columbia while also being treated to Haig-Brown’s thoughtful musings and ideas about the rewards of fly fishing streams.

Great book from the 50’s that’s still relevant today. I struggled to follow the flow of the story due to the narrator not being able to say his (R’s).

Historia
From a brilliant new literary voice comes a groundbreaking exploration of how trails help us understand the world, from tiny ant trails to hiking paths that span continents, from interstate highways to the Internet. In 2009, while hiking the Appalachian Trail, Robert Moor began to wonder about the paths that lie beneath our feet: How do they form? Why do some improve over time while others fade? What makes us follow or strike off on our own?

A spectacular observation of the origins of Hiking
Revisado: 08-05-17
Moore references several biological triggers that emerge in humans when we embark on trails. As an avid hiker I couldn't put down this book. Several concepts and paragraphs that dive deep into the sole of the outdoors. A well rounded and greatly performed masterpiece.

Historia
When Bronwen Dickey brought her new dog home, she saw no traces of the infamous viciousness in her affectionate, timid pit bull. Which made her wonder: How had the breed - beloved by Teddy Roosevelt, Helen Keller, and TV's Little Rascals - come to be known as a brutal fighter? Her search for answers takes her from 19th-century New York City dogfighting pits - the cruelty of which drew the attention of the recently formed ASPCA - to early 20th-century movie sets where pit bulls cavorted with Fatty Arbuckle and Buster Keaton.

Great overview of bully's
Revisado: 01-27-17
The story does a good timeline walk through of the history of bull terriers and the current issues that they're encountering. Good narration and good research into the topic!

Historia
Coyote America is both an environmental and a deep natural history of the coyote. It traces both the five-million-year-long biological story of an animal that has become the "wolf" in our backyards and its cultural evolution from a preeminent spot in Native American religions to the hapless foil of the Road Runner. A deeply American tale, the story of the coyote in the American West and beyond is a sort of Manifest Destiny in reverse.

Revisado: 07-09-16
This is a audible gem. The story line sounds basic but the impact of this one fire has had on our world still echo's to this day. Roberson Dean does a great job chugging his way though the book. buy it! Especially if you're interested in conservation history and the Northwest.

Historia
This isn’t your grandmother’s book on meditation. It’s about integrating that “spiritual practice” thing into a life that includes beer, sex, and a boss who doesn’t understand you. It’s about making a difference in yourself and making a difference in your world - whether you’ve got everything figured out yet or not.

Several Budda Nuggets
Revisado: 01-08-16
This was my first book on Buddhism. I found it easy to go through and caught several nuggets of information that I think will be very useful in life. The narration was good but not amazing. there's some annoying changes in tone that are obvious where he stopped and restarted recording. All in all it was worth the money and I'm happy with my purchase.

Historia
With its brilliant and brutal portrayal of the Corleone family, The Godfather burned its way into our national consciousness. This unforgettable saga of crime and corruption, passion and loyalty continues to stand the test of time, as the definitive novel of the Mafia underworld. A #1 New York Times bestseller in 1969, Mario Puzo's epic was turned into the incomparable film of the same name, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture. It is the original classic that has been often imitated, but never matched.
