Historia
For millennia, the Neanderthals dominated northern Europe's landscape, hunting, gathering and breeding. However, the arrival of the Cro-Magnon tribes presented the Neanderthals with a new and more powerful opponent—and their very survival was in jeopardy. The struggle for survival is reimagined in the fast-paced and fascinating historical novel The Last Neanderthal Clan. Charlie Boring and his extensive knowledge and passion for prehistoric civilization will transport listeners back to the cold climate of the Pleistocene period to witness the struggle for survival.

timeliness too confusing
Revisado: 01-12-24
author goes back and forth between characters that have nothing to do with the story, just to kill them within 30 seconds. just seems pointless

not great
Revisado: 12-16-20
I loved the first one, but this seems like a burnt husk of that story arch. the story seems repetitive, it's more explaining backstories than any real fun action, and just all around pretty weak. the Simon Pegg reference was really the best part, and that was all of 2 seconds long

This is a tale of sorrow, a tale of survival, a tale of one man's search for meaning in his universe, and how that search, and the indomitable will that drove it, gave birth to a legend.

utter garbage
Revisado: 12-09-20
hard to finish. had so much potential as a fantasy story, but instead the author makes it a live story reminiscent to Forrest Gump and Jenny. she's an awful person, but he'll defend her to the death and its just infuriating. waste of an audible credit

interesting concept, poor execution
Revisado: 11-03-20
the writing was just lackluster. he casually skips most of the battles and they try to make it a love story in a fantasy setting, which is just boring.

Welcome to the world of T. W. Brown's DEAD saga. This raw, violent, and brutal world isn't populated with military supermen and women, or preppers that have been waiting for the human extinction event to arrive. This is a world of normal people...some good, some bad...and some pure evil. This is a global look at the end of the world. Follow Steve and his group as you see the apocalypse unfold through a single person's eyes. With the Geeks, you meet four young men who thought a zombie apocalypse would be cool...and quickly discover that it really isn't.

Frustratingly boring
Revisado: 06-29-20
still trying to finish it, but 11 hours in and nothing has happened other than grotesquely descriptive rape scenes, which is not at all what I wanted in a zombie book. there are too many story lines going on that they all mix together. just a terrible writer all together
