Historia
Young Merlin has brought new hope to Fincayra, the enchanted isle that lies between earth and sky. Having finally freed it from the terrible Blight, Merlin and the forest girl Rhia set out to heal the land using the magical Flowering Harp. Good story, Narrator took too much creative liberty
Revisado: 07-28-23
The story was good. I enjoyed revisiting this book from my childhood and listening to Merlins spiritual quest to understand magic.
The narrator really made me cringe, especially in the later part of the book. Not sure why the narrator thought they could do a different voice for every character. I was just imagining the narrator with a tomato red face straining to over exaggerate every scene while also trying to blow out a candle as they spoke. Glad I read it but you might want to consider a hard copy for this series.

Historia
For millennia humans have tried - and often failed - to master nature and transcend our limits. But this has started to change. The new scientific frontier is the human body: the greatest engineers of our generation have turned their sights inward, and their work is beginning to revolutionize mankind. In The Body Builders, Adam Piore takes us on a fascinating journey into the field of bioengineering and paints a vivid portrait of the people at its center.

I personally really liked it
Revisado: 09-28-21
This book covers multiple biomedical technologies that have been discovered and used over the recent decades. For a future biomedical scientist like myself every part was fascinating. The author Adam Piore writes and expresses his thoughts and findings in a truly unique way that is curious and sophisticated. That being said I am glad I purchased and took the time to read his book and I look forward to his future projects.
