Good idea but poor execution. The narrator was terrible. Not as bad as the guy who did iron wolves but close. Story has potential but got bogged down with too much detail.

Love the GE series but

I love this series of books and the original authors but everything about this specific book was just plain wrong. Narration was off, words mispronounced, pace/flow faltering, almost everyone had the same exact voice, and no “feeling” behind the words. You could tell the authors tried their best but this just didn’t add up to what has become the norm for the Galaxy’s Edge series.

I don’t know what I had been expecting but I needed a book so I grabbed this one when my new credits hit and man it’s a non-stop ride from start to finish. The characters are extremely well developed and the narrator is second to none. It’s rare anymore that I find a book that can take me places but this one does. It’s so well written that you are actually there watching it in your head and forget that your listening to an audiobook. Can not recommend more.
