An Ellie Jay fan
Revisado: 12-11-21
The author introduces the plot at the beginning of the book and keeps the story moving by quickly introducing the characters and the crucial role they play. I enjoyed the characters and the intelligence that each character brought to the story. I'm becoming a fan of Ellie Jay because Secrets of the Vokovs was just as fast paced as her other novel Family Secrets. I would recommend reading or listening to Secrets of the Vokovs prior to listening to Family Secrets.
The narration of the story was provided by a true professional whose voice and speaking rhythm helped bring the story to life.

Enjoyable and fun
Revisado: 10-20-21
The author quickly introduces the main character who finds a family photo which starts her quest to find answers to her Family Secrets. The author did a great job keeping the story engaging and moving at a pace that wasn't boring allowing me to look forward to the next scene or the introduction of the next character. The strategic introduction of additional characters throughout the book added to the drama with each being introduced at the precise moment to keep the story moving. I couldn't wait to get to the end of the book to learn how all of the characters would come together to help provide answers to Family Secrets.
Family Secrets was a fun book for me to listen to during my commute to and from work. The narrator did an awesome job and did more than just read the words, he used his voice to bring the story to life. The audible version of the book is an excellent way to have a "theater" experience of Family Secrets.

Hooked until the end
Revisado: 08-18-21
I truly enjoyed Neelkanth because it is well written and engaging. The storyline is unique and refreshing and flows masterfully with each chapter building off of the previous chapter. The reader is left wondering what is coming next and stays hooked until the very last page - and the author delivers! Neelkanth was definitely worth my time!
The narration of the story was provided by a true professional who helped bring the story to life. The narrator was entertaining, making my long commute seem shorter as I listened to Neelkanth during my commute. Oftentimes my commute would end during an exciting scene and I couldn't wait until my next commute to learn how the scene would end.

Historia
Spoony is a kid with a heart of gold. He loves hugs, he loves affection, and he values friendship and family. But there is something about him that isn’t quite right. He can’t kick a ball, he can’t play Duck Duck Goose, and he confuses regular people for clowns. He thinks a fictitious character on an old TV show is his dad, and he just has a general way of ruining things for other people while remaining blissfully unaware.

Had me laughing out loud
Revisado: 05-30-21
The book is very humorous and entertaining. The author is a masterful storyteller and was able to naturally weave humor throughout the book in a manner where the bits of profanity didn't add humor for me. There are plenty of scenes consisting of vivid images that will allow the reader or listener to use their imagination and laugh out loud.
The narrator was able to capture the author’s intent by bringing the book to life through the spoken word. The narrator did a marvelous job bringing out the hilarious tibits of the story of Spoony ensuring that the timing of each spoken word brought humor out just as the author had intended. I listened to Spoony on my commute to and from work and I must warn others that there were times that I almost pulled to the side of the road because I was laughing so hard and feared that I might cause an accident.
5 plus stars!! There are very few humorous books I’ve read or listened to that have me laughing. Hoping for a follow on book!

Historia
The era is 1200 CE, when the intruders from the west ravaged Bharat; a small kingdom in its eastern part was entering its golden period. The kingdom of Kalinga, though a maritime superpower, remained secluded and reclusive to the other nations of Bharat. This was not by chance, but by choice, as this holy land was fulfilling a prophecy that could become the basis of existence for the entire humankind after the Kali Yuga ends.

Greatly benefited from the narration
Revisado: 05-30-21
The narrator did an excellent job narrating the book. As I started listening to Lotus Land, I found that for me it is a book that NEEDS narration for two reasons. The first is that there are numerous words woven throughout the story that I was unfamiliar with as well as words that are problematic for me to pronounce - correctly :) Normally I skip over the hard to pronounce words causing me to miss part of the story, but the audio enabled me to pay attention and follow the characters throughout the story. For instance in the Old Testament of the Bible there are numerous characters with hard to pronounce names and I have found that listening while reading has helped me learn to pronounce words and keep up with the characters\people.
The second reason the book and story line benefits from narration is that Lotus Land is not part of my favorite book genre. The audio provided an opportunity for me to explore a new genre that I would have never experienced without narration. The audio encouraged me to finish the book.

Not just a narration but a performance
Revisado: 03-28-21
Dr. Hasib is a man whose passion in life is to help others and in my opinion wrote this book with one goal in mind -- to specifically help you grow and excel in your life's journey by helping you bring out your inner greatness. In addition to authoring the book, he narrated the book as well, but he didn't just narrate this book, he made this book come alive helping me to discover my own inner greatness.
"What is inner greatness?" Greatness is the value proposition that you bring to anything you do. It's the reason an employer will choose or hire you (your brand) instead of someone else (the competing brand).
