A politically slanted Short History of the United States

This book started out really great. I felt I was learning and being reminded of some great facts from the past.
Then I got to more recent history that I lived through and found that the content was very slanted.
This causes me to doubt the things that I learned, making it impossible for me to recommend this book to others.
Also, this book ends before the recession of 2007.

Good, but not as great as the first series.

I really like this book. I will say that it isn't as good as the first series but it is still a fun read. My only complaint is that I can't recommend it to my nieces due to the sexual content that wasn't in the first series. Please don't misunderstand, it's not really bad, I just can't recommend it to youth readers as I could have the first series.
