Great narration

A fantastic story with a great cast of characters. Star crossed lovers who ended up having to get together because of a family secret. I loved the narration too, overall, a fantastic listen especially since it was part of the kindle listen program.

just fun - and great cast!

The book I didn't realize I needed as a long time Pippa Grant fan! Duncan finally gets his HEA and it was fantastic. Duncan and Addie (Daddie!) had a hook up a long time ago but Addie got cold feet, wanting to focus on her career, and years passed by where they were in the same sports world sphere (She's a batting coach, he's a NFL player). A funny (re)meet cute, a wonderful romantic gesture and then a love reignited kept this story moving quickly. Add in so many beloved characters with cross overs from multiple series, and this story made me swoon, laugh (naturally) and reminisce about the good old days while loving this expanded world!

I was so excited to yet again experience another book with Virginia Rose, who has an amazing comedic ability and is great at varying her voices. As always she excelled and with Tim Paige, the narration absolutely kept me enthralled! Another fantastic listen by Pippa Grant and her well chosen narrators.

Yep, it’s love

First the story, which I initially read. This is one of those books that is a must read when you’re having a hard day or week. The smiles it evoked from me because of the banter alone made this story worth it. The visits from prior characters that I have loved since finding this author made this story even more fun. And then the fantastic group of characters that were introduced and for whom I hope to get a bevy of new stories about pushes this series to the top of my to be read list.

Goldie and Fletcher start off as enemies to friends to lovers. The progression was well paced and the banter between the two was off the charts amusing. Throw in the supporting cast and lots of laughs were had. There were some serious poignant moments, many sweet moments, and of course many odd ball moments. And of course, the slightly wacky little animal, in this case, a dachshund who made me gleeful because I adore dogs. Now, with Jason Clarke’s croon and Samantha Brentmoor’s bright voice? Sigh, this story was auditory perfection. What a great listen!

Another good story in this series that I know is beloved. Lots of characters and a well fleshed out world. Some parts felt slow but the last quarter was very exciting and I can’t wait for the next installment.

I’m a little late to acotar but enjoyed this story and audiobook. I wish we had a dual narration but still, the narrator was great. In general, the story had slow parts but it is set up so it was expected. Looking forward to more!

I like this series and the narration adds to the fun of the story. Wish the characters varied a little (all gorgeous rich people) but otherwise interesting and a great way to spend a few hours.

I have read other books in this series but jumped at the chance to buy this book (thank you 2 for 1 credits). Sweet, relatively low angst second chance romance that made me smile, tear up a bit and swoon lots. I loved the main couple and Hawk especially, with his obvious love for his woman but also her family and his, really stood out. Absolutely wonderful story with a great narration cast (who were new to me).

Not a fan of Marek

I love this series but I was not a fan of Marek, who while wronged, was written to be a real mean person. Otherwise, great to see the rest of the cast and the narration team is good!
