Featured on Oprah and Sally Jesse Raphael, this definitive look at the dynamics of male-female communication gets to the heart of the all-too-common phenomenon: women who are ready and willing to commit, and men who back off just as the relationship moves toward the next level. This book can help you recognize early warning signs of the commitmentphobic man and avoid unnecessary stress and heartache.

Absolute godsend!
Revisado: 03-12-24
This book deconstructs the behavior that is so confusing in a relationship with a person who professes love but won’t commit. It explains everything which makes it so much easier to let go. For me, it took the guilt that was laid at my feet away and the shame for falling for ‘the lie’ away. I’m more confident that I can spot the telltale signs and quickly veer out of the CP’s line of sight.

I enjoyed the variety of guest and the plethora of topics. Great questions were asked each time and the laughter was non stop. Someone please tell Shannon Sharpe and Byron Allen to put this man on 😏

I enjoyed how the candor of the content. Open honest and real. As a black man who speaks about truth daily on my podcast (What’s up with ward) I was so inspired by someone who wasn’t sure about his own future yet willing to help someone else is the perspective of legends. I salute you brother Wright. Hoooorahhhhh ✊🏿

I throughly enjoyed listening to this book. I assumed it would be watered down and strictly in support of cops. The candor was that of reality and points I had not previously considered.

Historia
In his early 20s, Curtis Jackson, known as 50 Cent, rose to the heights of fame and power in the cutthroat music business. A decade ago, the multi-platinum selling rap artist decided to pivot. His ability to adapt to change was demonstrated when he became the executive producer and star of Power, a high-octane, gripping crime drama centered around a drug kingpin's family. The series quickly became "appointment" television, leading to Jackson inking a four-year, $150 million contract with the Starz network - the most lucrative deal in premium cable history.

This read is spectacular and then some!
Revisado: 12-25-20
I wasn’t always a fan of 50 because I felt he just wanted attention. After reading his last book I realized I misjudged this mans brilliance. I read this book and said I would send him a personal email stating that his candor was undeniable and is a must read for anyone interested in doing better. Strongly recommend this book. After reading this book, I feel like I have reconnected with a past that I knew I had but was never really told about. The candor of the writer is delightful and funny at times. I have shared so many quotes from this book with my students and family to the point that they are sharing it with others too. I hate to admit it but I read/listened to the book 5 times and honestly learned something new each time. From slavery to Bill Cosby's arrest and why! I strongly suggest this book to everyone!
