Not for me I though!
Revisado: 02-15-18
The beginning of the book starts out slow and I thought it wasn't for me. Then I decided to give it one more chapter. I'm so glad I did because it turned out to be the perfect book and just what I needed for my network marketing career.

A favorite read because it combines my love for quilts and a thought provoking story of a family's involvement in the Underground Railroad.

Stress
Revisado: 09-04-17
I normally enjoy this series but this one is too full of character conflicts for me to consider the book entertaining. I'll keep reading the series just won't re-read this one in the future.

I couldn't stop listening to this book. In some ways it reminded me of THE HELP another of my favorites. I'll be sharing this one with our adult book club and really hope they enjoy it as much as I did.

Historia
At 22, Cheryl Strayed thought she had lost everything. In the wake of her mother's death, her family scattered and her own marriage was soon destroyed. Four years later, with nothing more to lose, she made the most impulsive decision of her life: to hike the Pacific Crest Trail from the Mojave Desert through California and Oregon to Washington State - and to do it alone. She had no experience as a long-distance hiker, and the trail was little more than “an idea, vague and outlandish and full of promise.” But it was a promise of piecing back together a life that had come undone.

Revisado: 05-21-16
I struggled starting the book because I had just gone through the loss of my own mother and watching her slowly go through the dying process. However I'm glad I stayed with the story.

I look forward to reading the rest of the series for a fun relaxing read. The story isn't extremely tense so no nightmares. I tried to listen to the audio of the book but found I had trouble catching the change in side stories and characters until I checked out a companion book .
