It was a really good story.. you just cant help but feel for these characters and fall in love with some and others not so much.

Though I loved the over all story and character development, I saw it coming a mile away...
I guess I just hate how emotionally weak the FMC is and it kinda pisses me off. But I can also see how both Memphis and Sky would fall for Josh's shenanigans, but it's so obvious he is a user and it's so clear how manipulative and narcissistic he is. it kinda hits home since I had a ex who kept me around by making similar threats, until the fog cleared and I saw he, like Josh, are too selfish to just end themselves without taking everyone down too.

So best one yet.. love this series.. but that cliffhanger is a duzy! I was waiting for HIM to show up.. and show up he did. So many endings and beginnings and I cant wait to see how the story continues.

I feel like it was the story that needed to be told but it was a little much being in Dex's head.. I actually like him a whole lot less now.

When you say you want to know what your man is thinking and pretty much regretting it. He's just such a DUDE and a bit too douchey for my liking.. ugh! Perry is too good for him

What a pleasant surprise. I saw the ratings for this one and thought what the hell. This story is so cute. Gives you all the feels. So funny and the narrator did a fantastic job.

Another great book.. in this book it starts off right where the first one left off. It's quite the ride so buckle up! So many revelations.. can this princess catch a break? She is a little much with the inner thoughts though, just saying.
You'll see the individual character development as well as relationships grow and change. Even a few new characters and a few old ones come back to the story.

The narrators do such a good job! Though the female narrator does most of the book her self like the first book.

Spoiler alert🚨
This book ends on a cliffhanger... It starts with Kane and Reven teaming up to free Mar and then it's one thing after the other.. Need the next book like yesterday.. I do hope they have the Male narrator do more narration.. I love hearing his point of view.

This was so unexpectedly good. It's a slow burn for sure and I love it. just get it.. you wont regret it.. now on to the next.

So I read a lot of the comments before getting this book and most of the negative reviews was about the narration.. I found if I slowed the speed to .90x on the narration it reads so much better.

in my humble opinion try it because this one is worth it.. it has so much angst, action, betrayal and noteworthy spice.. if you're a fan of enemies to lovers and are ready to dive into a world with benevolent gods and goddesses, magic, vampires, humans, epic fighting, suspense, romance and of course a trial made for one winner that one wish can be granted to.. then this will be right up your alley.

it's a mix of ACOTAR+ Hunger games+ bridge kingdom with a little bit Blood and Ash.
