There are times where I for sure do not agree with Eryk, but it adds to the tension. Jonathan Waters is fantastic and becoming a favorite as well!

Sorry... Really? Thrust? Anyway, Danny Kendrick was a down-on-his luck performer who always struggled to find his place. He certainly never wanted to be a hero. He just hoped to earn a living doing what he loved. That all changes when he pisses off the wrong guy and gets sucked into a fantasy realm straight out of a Renaissance Fair. Getting used to a new world is tough. It's even tougher when you're surrounded by axe-wielding barbarians, super hot elf assassins, strange magic, and a jaded System that doesn't appear interested in being charged with yet another companion.

Was not sure at first if I’d like the 1st person or the world, or the bard aspect. But, thoroughly entertaining and funny. There are moments where you just fall in love with the characters. A great time.

Across all litrpg. Seriously I bought a mug and proudly drink coffee out of it everyday. Some people are like wtf is this and I am like LET ME TELL YOU. Dungeon Crawler Carl is the best thing ever. I am already lamenting the end, unfortunately. I hope there is more beyond the crawl. Please keep them coming. This one was great - slow a bit around the middle/end but all in all a solid addition to the story.

I didn’t like it at first…

The whole of the three… but I find, so far, in book 3 I am loving Matt because now I know him. I understand him rather - and other people. There are still reactions that seem out of place, but though the books don’t mention it very well, I attribute it to degrading mana.
The system the author is building and the lore is awesome. Kind of inspired to write something myself. (Thanks to the forward in the first book.)
I very much heart this series and Neil Hellegers.

It’s great. Overpowered MC if you like that however the Author does a great job at character development. It’s a bit fast-paced, kill some big mobs 5 lvls kind of grind - but Ilea is lovable and she make fast friends who you might care about rather quickly. Honestly, it was a slow start, but there’s a point that puts the hook in your mouth. Enjoy! I’d put it on Primal Hunter level, and the first few of The Land up until Monsters.
