Finished Eddies book wanting to better understand HOW Matchroom actually happened. This book did not disappoint. Very much enjoyed the rags to riches element. But more importantly, the admittance to luck being a huge factor in success. Not enough successful people admit this and it was refreshing. Hard work for sure. Relentless, absolutely. But also blessed with luck.

Great book Barry. Bravo.

Really Enjoy This

This is a surprisingly thought provoking book. Filled with interesting insights and opinions on life. Loved the little jokes here and there and the upbeat but straight manner of delivery. Jimmys comedy is not for everyone but this book could be read by all. Really enjoyed this…but not as much as your mum.

Just as good as The Martian

This book is great. Great narration, great writing, compelling story. If you like sci-fi survival stories like The Martian. This is for you. Great book.

Loves the sound of his own voice

I realise there are a lot of fans writing these reviews. I am not a raving fan of Matthew (not a hater), I have enjoyed some of his films. But, wow, he loves himself and the sound of himself in this book. Wet dreams, woe is me and all my money, I’m the best etc, I rolled my eyes so many times during this. If you want a real autobiography, try Will or I can’t make this up by Kevin Hart. Down to earth, hard working individuals that struggled all the way to the top. This was such a let down. Sorry Matt.

First half worth the purchase

Second half not so good.

Performances are great as always and the soundscape and sound design is amazing.

Story wains in the second half and becomes a bit boring. First half had me listening intently.

Gripping and Great

Stephen Fry does it again. Listened to all of his books. All amazing. Such a way with words. Particularly, in the way he keeps you listening. None of it gets too deep or loses you in names. Loved it. Thanks to Stephen and the production,editorial team involved. If you do another you shall have my coin sir.

Great Book!

This is a great book. It provides PRACTICAL advise on what makes people share things. It gives good examples of others who have shared things successfully. It ends with important questions you need to run through when creating content or marketing your product. It sums up the book, and reviews. It’s just a really insightful, well written, book. He didn’t repeat things overly and it’s not too long.

I am a business owner who has recently started and needed advice on handling/marketing products. Our business is education through content creation. This book was royally helpful.

Can’t speak highly enough of it.

Great if you are starting a Dating website

Really good if you are interesting in starting a tech based business. More specifically, a dating website. Gives great insight to Facebook app based business around the dating and social genre.

If (like me) you are not in the dating industry. There are better books.

Great listen

Insightful, funny and sometimes tear jerking. Would say overall great story and look into Mr Knights and Nike’s life.

Will add, the narrator read some moments almost without emotion. Where there should have been some passion in his voice regarding the moment at hand there was none. Where there was anger there was none.
