Alexander McCall Smith does it again with our favorite characters. His books are pleasant visit to Botswana each and every time. Though I miss hearing Lisette Lecat as the reader, Bianca Amati does quite a fine job.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The characters are so well crafted and this third installment in the series had me absolutely captivated. Looking forward to many more in the future. Wonderfully written. I’m now yearning for a trip to the U.K. for joyful jaunts to all of the charity shops!

This story was fabulous! It had me laughing out loud several times and wishing that I could pop into the charity shop for tea and cake and to meet these wonderful characters. Excellent narration by Zara Ramm! Thank you Peter Boland and please have Audible hire Zara to record the 3rd installment of this lovely series. We’re waiting to hear it!

A Wonderful Story

Bianca Amato did a lovely job narrating. Though I will miss the familiarity of Lisette Lecat’s voice in AMS’s books, I realize that even the best things in life must change, and I have accepted this. I can tell that Bianca took great care in staying within the integrity of the series and by capturing the essence of the soul of the characters. Well done for her and best wishes to her for future audiobooks.
