Jennifer Ashley can write more than BR or SciFi
Revisado: 07-31-21
This series shows that Jennifer Ashley can write more than bodice rippers or fluffy esp/scifi stories. Her characters are very visible and real and ordinary and not so ordinary. The reader of this is able to do all the different social class accents without being distracting. I highly recommend this series.

Historia
Whether he’s quoting Wordsworth or having words with a particularly obtuse judge, Horace Rumpole always knows what he’s doing––even if no one else does. In this delightful collection of stories, Rumpole straightens everyone out in the shocking case of a “bent copper,” gallantly teaches a professor of moral philosophy about blackmail, consults with the dear departed when a will is contested, traces the path of true love when a doctor is accused of murder, and more.

concept good but components need work

Would not bother unless you can borrow from library and I hope the author improves over each effort.

If you want to understand housing issues in USA...
Revisado: 08-02-20
A good analysis of why YIMBY is likely the only way to move ahead to get housing for all, especially in the richest areas of the USA. It could use a bit more capitalistic ethos, especially if you look at the difference between Houston and SF or Atlanta and NY. There is enough land to build on if only the regulators (well meaning and not well meaning) create pathways to reasonable building costs...
