Good Read,
Revisado: 10-17-23
Interesting characters and plot developments.
The only character that annoyed me was Tyler. I liked his roll in the story, but didn’t care for his comical nature. Perhaps if he was a bit more mature with just a hint of dry humor.
I look forward to reading the second book and what twists and turns await.

When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella's side of the story. At last, listeners can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun. This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire.

Worth the read!
Revisado: 08-25-20
This book was a little slow at first, but then I was hooked as much as I was when I read “Twilight” for the first time.
I was finally able to here Edwards perspective and get insight into his mysterious life. When I got to the end, I was already wanting to read about Edwards perspective in the next book in the Twilight series.
Stephanie Meyer’s has the gift of painting a picture and making one feel like they are a present, silently observer.

Encouraging and Truthful
Revisado: 06-15-18
This book was a really good read for me. I am so glad the author was also the narrator. I have never heard of Rachel Hollis before, but grew to really love her in this book for her insight and deeply personal and truthful adventures in life. The book allows the reader to identify with Rachel and realize we are all just normal human beings going through extraordinary journeys. It gives hope while encouraging the reader and letting them know they are capable of doing hard things. For me, i especially liked how Rachel was not embarrassed about where she got her core values from and how it molded her into the person she is today and the decisions she makes with her husband for her family.

Historia
In the summer of 1975, 17-year-old Eva Dillon's family was living in New Delhi when her father was exposed as a CIA spy. Eva had long believed that her father was a US State Department employee. She had no idea that he was handling the CIA's highest ranking double agent - Dmitri Fedorovich Polyakov, a Soviet general whose code name was TOPHAT. Dillon's father and Polyakov had a close friendship that went back years, to their first meeting in Burma in the mid-1960s.

Best Summer Read!
Revisado: 07-14-17
What did you love best about Spies in the Family?
I loved this well written, well researched, non-fiction story that seemed to flow easily and kept my interest at every turn, while being told from an intelligent point of view of the person that also happens to be the daughter of one of the main characters/covert spies in the story.
What did you like best about this story?
It opened up my eyes to the life of a spy and the world of espionage while illustrating the dangers of those that have sacrificed so much, including their life, for freedom and the good of our nation by their acts of bravery.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I had pure disappointment for those that betrayed our government/country by the selling of intelligence information and also those that put so many undercover agents in danger or blew their cover.
Any additional comments?
Buy the book, you wont regret it! It is the best book I have read in a very long time.
