This author is highly skilled in the ability to present complex human personalities and behaviors under multiple complex, challenging situations. The writer understands how good people might behave in difficult situations. It also shows how selfish people, who don’t recognize they are selfish, use it to their benefit. This author is one of the most skilled I have ever had the privilege to read!
Not all people who behave bad are obviously bad and not all people who make good decisions are obviously good!

I should have read the reviews. There are so many with only 1 or two stars that I find it unlikely that it actually has almost 5 stars. Like others I’m not excited about the forced left wing propaganda. It it is dripping with it. I don’t mind organic real stories that reveal these issues but forcing it is like preaching it.

Wow Great Book

I love time travel books and this one this one kept my interest to the end. Then a cliff hanger making me want the next book in the series right away.
I love the old fashioned family connection with grandparents and her close knit new community. The artistic connection with quilting and and dreamy idealism of the past was fun too. I won’t give too much away!

This book presents the real and shocking history as well as the danger of Marxism/Socialism. Every time this political ideology gains enough power the horrors are repeated. God help us in America as some are using propaganda right now to drag us down that road! The only thing protecting us is the construction. In true Marxist form a young college boy I know recently screamed at his elderly grandmother “F___ the Constitution!”

WOW! Answer to the Question: How can I Grow as a Communicator?

I feel more equipped to be a significantly better communicator after reading (listening/Audible), to this book. I am actually buying a physical copy to keep for quick reference.
It was also great to hear Mr. Gowdy read this himself because both my husband and I found it easy to keep our focus while listening.
My question for Mr. Gowdy, should I ever have the pleasure to meet him, is the following. What have you learned about the things over which you expressed dilemma, since writing the book. Hmmm, that sounds like another book!
