Overall a decent book
Revisado: 12-30-24
I enjoyed the story but the character development was lack luster. The voices made the book seem like it was being read at me rather than it being an immersive experience but I look forward to what the team will face next!

Historia
Callum had seen things all his life. There are monsters and beasts living among people, but he learned very early not to admit such things, not if he didn’t want people to think him crazy. It turns out that the supernatural is real, but at 30, Callum has no desire to be part of that secret. Not that he has a choice when it turns out he is a mage, albeit one that hasn’t cast any spells in all his life. There are requirements, duties, and education that the powers that be insist he be subject to. To hell with that.

An amazing listen
Revisado: 12-12-23
The characters are all so well written and the accompanying voices and methods of story telling really draw you into the book. There were times when it would get a little predictable and some areas of the boon seemed a little too drawn out but over all I'd give it a 5 out of 5.

An Amazing story
Revisado: 09-24-23
Overall, it was very captivating and a story with multiple twists and turns. I must say that there were some parts that were very hard to get through given the history of my people but still an astonishingly great story.
