Historia
This is a tale of murder. Or maybe that’s not quite true. At its heart, it’s a love story, isn’t it? Lana Farrar is a reclusive ex-movie star and one of the most famous women in the world. Every year, she invites her closest friends to escape the English weather and spend Easter on her idyllic private Greek island.

The story and the characters were so disgusting that I can't believe this is a best seller.

Grossly vulgar, crude, low class characters with no interest to me.
Revisado: 12-31-23
I want to return the audio book after 7 chapters. I am trying to find the return process. The characters are simply vile and the plot is contrived to exaggerate the need for crime. How this book ever got nominated as a great crime story is an amazement to me.

A long long long dull book
Revisado: 04-27-23
The author has wonderful words, thoughts, descriptive emotions and physical settings. However, the story is very weak and the book is too long by ten times. It was almost impossible to keep listening. If you are interested in knowing what happens in this story I suggest that you find a brief synopsis somewhere. Don't bother to waste your time reading or listening to the whole novel.

Incredibly simple and seems to be written by a child
Revisado: 03-10-23
This book was a major disappointment!! The plot was too simple, the dialogue was so ridiculous that it seems impossible that an accomplished author would put his name on this book cover. The story was constantly interrupted by the protagonist feeling the unbelievable need to call his family for support over simple events. I think something went wrong with the publishing process.

Took much too long to keep my interest
Revisado: 05-01-22
The book started with suspense then went into a 30 chapter decline. I was about to request a refund when some more action started. I finished the book but overall it was not a good read.
She is an excellent writer with a good understanding of human emotions but she spends too much time on repetitive introspection by the prime characters.

Not a thriller at all. Just endless boring dialogue.
Revisado: 04-24-22
This book does not qualify as a thriller. It is just filled with endless examples of young teenagers trying to find themselves.
It is made even more unpleasant by the narrator whispering in a sharp British accent that makes it very difficult to hear and follow the boring dialogue.
The author must have better books to be designated a best seller.

Great dialog, interesting characters, unusual story, and too much introspection.
Revisado: 10-21-21
She is an excellent writer. The story was unusual enough to keep me reading to see the outcome ( which I did not expect). The characters were interesting. The narrator was superb. I thought there was too much redundant introspection by the lead character.
