Historia
Isaiah Quintabe - IQ for short - has never been more successful or felt more alone. A series of high-profile wins in his hometown of East Long Beach have made him notorious. Dodson, once his sidekick, is now his full-fledged partner, hell-bent on giving IQ's PI business some legitimacy. So when a young painter approaches IQ for help tracking down her missing mother, it's not just the case Isaiah's looking for but the human connection. And when his new confidant turns out to be connected to a dangerous paramilitary operation, IQ falls victim to a threat even a genius can't see coming.

Historia
Many changes have happened to the Murder Squad. Rash actions have cost Sergeant Nevil Hammersmith his job, and in response he has set up his own private detective agency. Inspector Walter Day has been missing for a year, and no one knows where he is - though there is a strong suspicion that Saucy Jack has him. Hammersmith has made finding Day his primary case, and he has company - a pair of bounty hunters, a man and a woman.

By far the best book of the series
Revisado: 03-15-17
I started this series about 1 month ago and fell in love with the characters and the writing. Book 1 is not that gruesome and book 2 is midly so. By book 3 it is full blown guts and gore but the storyline keeps you going. I will stick with this series for as long as Alex Grecian continues to write them. He is an amazing author.

I love this series, getting pretty dark but good
Revisado: 03-10-17
I have listened to the entire series in less than a month. The author is amazing and creative. The history and the scenes that are painted for you make it feel as if you are there. Each book seems to be getting a bit more dark and graphic. I don't mind as much as I thought I would. The narrator in the first 2 books was wonderful and this narrator is pretty good as well. Not sure why they switched half way through the series.
This book is great but a couple of things seemed a little far fetched, I understand that it is just a story and not real life but still. I still enjoyed it.

Why we think it’s a great listen: An all-time Audible favorite that mixes historic fiction, adventure, and romance with one of the most fascinating literary devices: time travel. Outlander introduces an exhilarating world of heroism and breathtaking thrills as one woman is torn between past and present, passion and love. How have I just started reading this series?
Revisado: 09-05-16
Outlander has been out for a long time and I am just reading it. I cannot believe it took me so long. This book is brilliant, the detail in this book is what I love the most. She is careful in her storyline and the characters are so well written.
A big shout out to the narrator as well, she is wonderful.

I love Liane Moriarty's writing
Revisado: 05-12-16
First, the narrator is amazing and needs to be given credit. She's brilliant.
I have listened or read several of Liane Moriarty's books and every time I am done I wish there was more to the story. Not in a bad way. I wish this because I do not want the story to end. Her characters are so real and honest.

Historia
When Robin Ellacott opens an unexpected delivery, she is horrified to discover that it contains a woman's severed leg. Her boss, private detective Cormoran Strike, is less surprised but just as alarmed. He suspects that four people from his past could be responsible - and any one of them is capable of sustained and unspeakable brutality. With the police focusing on the one suspect Strike has essentially ruled out, he and Robin take matters into their own hands and delve into the dark and twisted worlds of the other three men.

What a magnificent read
Revisado: 12-09-15
I loved this book. I have read the previous 2 Cormoron Strike novels and loved them as well. This book really dove into Cormoron's past, as well as Robin's. It kept me in complete suspense the entire time. The characters come to life. I truly feel I could visit London and bump into any of these people. I love that kind of writing. The narration was great as well.
