I got a double treat with this. January LaVoy is my favorite narrator. People say cheesy, but I am sad it’s over. I love design, and all the descriptive words about design, were so wonderful. I wish there was another one to listen too.

Practice letting go of the need to control and the notion of how things should be, and feel the peacefulness of being present in the moment as it is.

Historia
It was a typical evening at a mall outside Portland, Maine. Three teenage friends waited for the movie to start. A boy flirted with the girl selling sunglasses. Mothers and children shopped together, and the manager at the video game store tended to customers. Then the shooters arrived. The chaos and carnage lasted only eight minutes before the killers were taken down. But for those who lived through it, the effects would last forever.

This book was one of the best books,in this genre I have read or listened to in a very long time. Narration was so wonderful it felt like I was watching a movie. I am so very sad it came to an end. HIGHLY recommend. My only wish is that we as a people learn from history.
