this story got to me when in a huge rut. that speaks to it IMO. I abandoned a series that had my attn for this cos it was soooo good. sooooo underrated. this needs more loved. the narrators captured the characters PERFECTLT.

idk how I ended up here but I'm wholly invested

I hadnt even heard of this series. still am not sure how I ended up on it during the biggest slump I've expierenced. but I somehow came across it and felt so compelled to listen to all 3 booths and it woke my soul. so good. like surprisingly good. not where I expected it to go. if you love romantasy, I implore you to listen to this series! majory cheering for FMC and MMC (sorry yall. I'm trying so hard to avoid spoilers)

I must compete with demons, vampires, elves and more who want to claim their place at the future King’s side. I have no interest in this guy, but it doesn’t help that the King-to-be is a gorgeous, brooding fae.

cannot recommend this series enough. I don't wanna give away any spoilers, but any series that isn't 'too clean cut' gets my attn, cos it's less common than one might think. this series is just that. the amount of times I yelled at my phone listening to this is unacceptable according to my kids and they wanna know that has me in such a frenzy.

the plot got me good

the plot is sussed out pretty well, and isn't the most predictable, even if done before. check trigger warnings as the is a DARK romantasy. but if you don't have a lot of triggers, this author is AMAZING.
