Engrossing

Well written, well read. I love a good non-fiction book that reads like a novel. The story encompasses a year the author spent on the island including a few other previous encounters he had with the area and people. He tells about people, politics & religion without judgement. As soon as I finished the story I started it over.

Good story,worth a listen if you enjoy history

A good listen, there were some flat spots. I wasn't sure if the story was slow or the narration dry, forced. It was worth finishing. Certainly a different civil war tale.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
A waste of time. The book is well written and has a few twists but there are no redeeming characters in the whole story. I feel there is good in most people, these people all suck!

I've read many stories about WWII fighting and survival. This story rivals them all. It's truly remarkable.

This is another view of how the Allied forces won WWII. Women pilots, RAF, civilian workers and spies infiltrate Nazi occupied France. Great story, told from two different women, Part I and Part II, very cleaver.

Where does Code Talker rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This was a great story about one of the many ways the Allied forces used their heads to win the war. Thank goodness the Navajo are loving, forgiving people. This is the first I have read detailed information about the code talkers.
