very interesting concept i hope this series continues one day! although the present day portions were less interesting I am very much Excited to one day maybe find out more about the future of this new world. (I also wonder if Eric had been inspired by the Turok)

great story not a fan of the Profanity

While I will always prefer the universe made up of the previous novels This was a very great story loved the concept While there's a notable lack of other familiar characters And sadly an over use of profanity something sadly prominent in recent star trek series Which the previous shows and novels had been mature enough not to need to seem "grown up" i still loved the book while not perfect and I hope new trek can grow beyond the need for more profanity and gore in an attempt to make people take it more seriously like a edgey teenager

absolutely fascinating really explains why the man is the way he is what a crazy family history I feel sorry for everyone both in the family and those hurt by them this is why empathy and kindness are the most important things we can pass on to Future Generations to try and end the cycle of abuse as best we can thank you mary for your bravery in showing us the truth about this sad story.
