The Stranger Times has the makings of a great tv series. I love this book series and would pay to see in cinema. Great line of characters, suspense, comedy. Well casted, this could be 4 thrilling, funny films.

the narrator was excellent. he made each character pop. I liked it a lot better than the series. the series was good but as usual the book with the book is better. I like that it was like three or four short stories but actually it wasn't because it was a continuation in the relationships. I would definitely be recommending this book to others.

Captivating Story

I've been following the Pendergast series so long I don't even know what number I'm on. Being a bit pessimistic, I keep expecting DP & LC to drop the ball.. They're going to write a dull ho hum Pendergast story eventually. Right? Nope! Hasn't happened yet and after listening to this episode, I don't think they wiill. Don't miss out on intrigue, suspense and excitement. You are in for a treat.

Though a fun interesting story i gave 4 stars not 5 stars. Having listened to the entire Mist born series imo this is the least of them but still a fun imaginative story.

I liked it for many reasons. 1. this entire series makes me consider how humans may appear to off worlders. 2. it removes any ideas that we are not homicidal, misinformed , suicidal...for the most part.

TV SERIES?

The first book of a series is hard to make it thru. The author is not writing for a one time story. Initially it was a challenge for me to stick with this to see if it was going to become a listen that I didn't want to turn off and it did. I began to appreciate building of the story into an epic. I began to appreciate the characters build up. When a book is teetering on the edge of tediousness, a great narrator is imperative. Nick Podehl haas given life support to many book 1's. He did that with this book. The motley crew of characters and the iincreasing epic makes me look forward to the next installment of this adventure as i suspect that it will be even better than the first. Ross you better not drop the ball.
