Good Mystery With Lots of Surprises
Revisado: 01-24-24
I had already read the author's paperback version, listening to it in audio last year and enjoyed that. I just listened to it again after receiving a new link to it. Not sure if this is an update, but the narrator is very talented and is able to play the part of many different characters. I had forgotten some details of the surprise ending, so enjoyed going through the journey again via audio. I hope this 2nd review will be allowed to be posted on audio.

Well Done!
Revisado: 09-06-23
I'm not much of a romance reader, but once I got into it, I was hooked. The story of Katy and Chase 10 years after a breakup, seemed to tell you where this would go, but even though predictable, it was a pleasure to be there watching how their lives would be changed forever. Good writing and excellent narration.

Loved This
Revisado: 12-01-21
I finished this a few weeks ago on my commute to work, but got busy and just now reviewing this audio book. Really keeps your interest. Don't want to give too much away, but I had a feeling the lead might've misunderstood some earlier life events (like we all have), but surprised when she got the wrong vibes in current time. The whole truth comes out at the end, and what a surprise.

I really enjoyed this. The narrator did a good job except her voice sounded a little too old to be Sarah Booth. I got used to it though.

Very Well Done
Revisado: 02-17-20
The story is in a fictional town in Southern Mississippi. If you know the area, you'll recognize some of the true towns nearby. The plot was different but had some elements of small-town Southern Mississippi. Good and evil are well defined in Judas Burning. The reader(s) did a good job. This made my long commute to and from work very enjoyable. I'd recommend it.

The Title is a Perfect Fit for this Story
Revisado: 12-23-19
Connor, the main character, comes home at a time when he's grieving his mom's recent death. He's also at a turning point with some life decisions. A friend of his, Alana, also comes home having left years earlier due to an unfortunate chain of events. There are more good characters Connor knows who weave their situations into this book. It's a warm story of love, sadness, hopes and happy endings. An enjoyable read.

Good Sequel to the First in the Series
Revisado: 12-22-19
The setting up of the lead's new business went a little slow, but only for a brief time. Things get extremely interesting when Calamity meets a very old relative for the first time. The ending was the perfect set-up for the next book in the series. I'll be looking for it.

A Very Good Audio Book
Revisado: 12-22-19
This took every bit of dreariness out of my commute to work for the few days it took to complete listening to. The protagonist, a charming, intelligent, loveable young woman saw a road sign that piqued her curiosity and she was drawn into a mystery she became determined to solve. She started the process, dug deep, and found the answer. Not only was the the story interesting, but the reader did a fantastic job in delivering it.

Cliffhangers that Hook
Revisado: 12-01-19
I bought this audio version of this book and listened to the story on my commute to work. I really enjoyed it. I was glad to hear this was the first in the series because of some of the unanswered questions. I've already listened to the author's great sequel to this, but sending this review now because I'm not sure I sent it correctly the first time since Amazon did not show verified purchase. I'll see if it shows now.
