Historia
Quito Cruz might be a genius piano player and composer in New York City now but it doesn’t mean that he’s any closer to his Broadway dream. Although Quito knows what the problem is. Or rather who. Because ever since that night in college—with pretty-boy jock Emmett Aoki—his inspiration has been completely MIA . . . Now Quito’s dad wants him to put on a charity performance in his hometown. And there’s one hella big string attached: convince Emmett—now one of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities—to perform.

A perfect debut
Revisado: 06-10-23
All the Right Notes is a perfect second chance romance as we get to see Quito and Emmett’s first try and romance in the past and their second attempt in the present. I loved the book the first time I read the text and loved it even more listening to it. My favorite book of 2023 so far.

Oh my God
Revisado: 08-13-16
This book's been on my to read list for a while and I'm so glad I went with audio. Derrick McClain's narration made this already great story soar. His performance of Gus and Casey was perfect.
I loved TJ Klune's story too. One of the sweetest romances ever.

Great adventure
Revisado: 08-27-15
The blurb drew me into this book, but the story kept me there. I love how many levels this works on from a love story to a story about friends to a story about family. It was funny, dramatic, heartbreaking and absolutely a delightful read.

Historia
Sixteen-year-old and not-so-openly gay Simon Spier prefers to save his drama for the school musical. But when an email falls into the wrong hands, his secret is at risk of being thrust into the spotlight. Now Simon is actually being blackmailed: If he doesn't play wingman for class clown Martin, his sexual identity will become everyone's business. Worse, the privacy of Blue, the pen name of the boy he's been emailing with, will be compromised.

Amazing, powerful, joyful book!
Revisado: 04-10-15
I went back and forth between smiling at what was happening and occasionally getting upset. Sometimes Simon just does the complete wrong thing and I just wanted to say nooooooooooo. But that’s part of what being a teenager is about. As this plays out over a few months, including the Christmas holidays, Albertalli gives us such full, dynamic characters that you feel the weight of the events on Simon, which is also helped by the use of first person/present tense. In the last forty five minutes, I smiled and cried because of the perfect ending that played out before my ears.
I suspect I'll listen to it again, and I might pick up the physical book as well because this story deserves to be savored and enjoyed

Historia
“We were all heading for each other on a collision course, no matter what. Maybe some people are just meant to be in the same story". At first, Jude and her twin brother are NoahandJude; inseparable. Noah draws constantly and is falling in love with the charismatic boy next door, while daredevil Jude wears red-red lipstick, cliff-dives, and does all the talking for both of them. Years later, they are barely speaking. Something has happened to change the twins in different yet equally devastating ways...but then Jude meets an intriguing, irresistible boy and a mysterious new mentor.

Outstanding in every way
Revisado: 03-20-15
This book's been on my to-read list for sometime. It's absolutely outstanding. The story is so multi-layered and the characters so vividly presented I had a hard time stopping when I had too. The performers brought Noah and Jude vividly to life, as well as the supporting characters.
I'm sad I'm done with the book, but also completely satisfied with it too.

I've wanted to read this for a while and listening to it was the best way to get the information digested. This book is full of good details for anyone ready to make a serious go at being an indie author. I'm glad I've got the digital book too because I know I'll be going back for reference too.
