Immense Cringe and Filler

I absolutely loved the first and second book they had me completely hooked.

But this 3rd one seems to be full of teenager
like emotions and endless empty prattle.

The MC is acting soft, dumb and whimsical which is completely the opposite of who he was in the 2 previous books.

It's full of a bunch of
cringe that comes off as needless filler

All that would be bad enough if this was a slice of life story,
It's not so that just makes the situation even
worse.

It was a struggle to finish the book.

I love the story concept and plot though and will try the 4th book in hope that it's more like the 1st two books
of this series.

If it's anything like this 3rd one though it will
be extremely disappointing.

Great addition to the series

was extremely excited for this book and did not disappoint.
must admit I don't like his new girlfriend at all and think it's going to ruin the next book greatly but I'll reserve judgment for after I've read it.

Very Enjoyable

Love the mc and plot.
Pacing could have been better but was never unentertaining throughout .
hopefully with most of the world building down in this first one the others will have more progression.
I'm extremely excited for book #2 and can hardly wait

Good but......

There's something very juvenile about it , I can't say what, but it gives off vibes that it should have been a child's book.
Yet it is way too violent and the topics too dark to be anything but Teen or YA.
It leaves me with mixed feelings and a sense that something is missing the entire time.
The story however is very intriguing as such I did finish the whole book to see what happens

Great Foundation Building

This book was enjoyable, couldn't stop listening from the time I got it at 2am in the morning.
Didn't even go to sleep the next night I was so intrigued.

However.... I agree with some of the others that there was a lot of filler with unnecessary drama.

Granted the filler was entertaining and some of it was absolutely necessary for building a strong team foundation.
A lot of it was just over done and I would have preferred more story progression .

I can't say I'm disappointed, but I will admit I was hoping things would go farther and that some of that filler would at least have been with his family or with the ongoing war efforts instead.

That being said I'm extremely excited for the next book and will be waiting for it with great anticipation.

I'm encouraged that with a lot of the internal relationship and foundation building processes out of the way in this book , the next one will be able to have a lot more actual story progression.

I do pray it won't be 3 years until the next book.
I think I may die if I have to wait that long again Lol!

the storyline was great but the Mc's interactions with people especially that Tara person are so cringe it was impossible for me to finish.
also he's smart at one moment and extremely dumb at the next moment which I found infuriating lol

lots of potential and would be quite
enjoyable but the main characters personality is insufferable and she comes off as an idiot and I just can'twith all the laughing for no reason.

other then that great book!
